Description

With the new' no overnighting' signs right at the main Sandy Beach parking lot, we found this roadside parking 100m away. You're parked by the road so you hear the occasional car in the evening but it's quiet at night. From here you see the lake and hear it too. You can back in with a large rig, just don't hog the whole carpark or they'll put 'no overnighting' signs here too. Use the main toilets. There's a path to the beach from here. We slept as good here as at the other spot before the signs went up.
No internet connection.

there's a sign in this turnout that says no parking snow route. so I would imagine that probably gets removed once the season starts but as of April 28th you can't park here.

Great spot. Can see and hear lake waves. Only one here last night no traffic during night. The Sandy Beach site is interesting to visit. Would stay here again. Close to Silver Falls and High Falls.

Magique spot!

Awesome place. One minute footpath to the beach, absolutely no one around.
Locals passed by, no one cared.

Very Nice place, exactly like descripted: take the parking lot just before the entrance. Beautiful and quite. Supper and sun on the beach.
