Was planning to stay overnight but around 6pm the noisy vehicles started to gather. The writing was on the wall. And there is signage for “no overnight camping” there now as well. The boat dock seemed like a better alternative so we went there instead.
Report Check-Inwent a Friday night really nice play and view but it was loud and busy until 4 am when we moved to the actual boating dock..if your looking for a quiet place its not recommended
Report Check-InGreat place to boondock. pulled in behind the building in front of the water and stayed the night in a camper no problem. Lots of free parking there.
Report Check-InAs described. Great location with lots of space and a great view - but the local youths with their noise drove me off. Spent a few days in Collingwood, some nights this noise was worse than others. Flipped between here and the location across the harbour behind the sewer plant. That place had noisy ducks in the morning, so pick your poison! It was much quieter over there at night than at this place. Bonus: there was an East Indian food truck set up nearby here on the weekend. Delicious. Nice sunset view here too. Mornings quieter here but nights can be late with all the noise.
Report Check-InNice view on Blue Mountains. Parking just beside large Silos. Stayed for one night/day. Lots of locals coming with cars to play loud music and rev their engines. We felt like at a karaoke/drive-in cinema until 11pm.
Report Check-InStayed here for a night on our way more south. Behind the silos, was great after hours when the locals all left, it was noisy with music and engine revving until 10- 10:30
Would stay again, but much prefer a more secluded area.
