Report Check-InBeautiful and flat camp spot. This spot is half a mile off Baxter road along a dirt track (needs high clearance vehicle). Ignore comments below about trucks going past - I guess they were parked on Baxter road. Hot and exposed but worth it for the amazing views across the landscape.
Report Check-InWe just pulled off onto the side of Baxter rd. A few trucks came through, but not terrible. mostly deafeningly quiet. Our 10ft tall, 35ft long bus would not make it further off the road, but anything smaller shouldn't have a problem!
Report Check-Inflat, sunny, extremely windy. no trees or anything. stupid fast verizon coverage.
Road is very bumpy, bottomed out going super slow in my chevy van so sedans are a no go. high clearance would be fine. look around a bit for an area to pull off.
