Description

Very nice place to spend the night over the water. It was really quiet throughout the whole night (Monday), I don't know about weekends. In the morning a few people came to launch their boats and disappeared within 5-10 minutes. No one bothered us. I didn’t see any signs for no overnight parking.

A beautiful spot with bathrooms and a great view of the lake. Drinking water available from a small water fountain. Boat ramp is to the north and overflow parking to the south. A bit tricky to find as Engineer Boat ramp does not come up on GPS. Head toward John Kyle campground and you will be able to find it from there. Definitely worth the free camping for a night or 2.

Parked here for one night in my Tesla, right beside the slipway. I was the only vehicle here. Great place to watch the sunrise but by 0630hrs there was heavy traffic with trucks pulling their boat trailers into the parking lot. I wouldn’t suggest parking here if you intend to sleep past 0700hrs, especially on a weekend.

We used the Picknick Area besides the boot ramp. Very quiet overnight.

Super pretty spot to camp out at for a night or two. Only one person came by with their boat and paid us no mind. Really quiet, bathrooms, and a beautiful lake front

Wonderful spot! Gorgeous water views and quiet all night. A couple people arrived in the morning, but we hardly noticed them. Great AT&T signal. We went down towards the day use area on the right when you first turn in and it worked out great.
