Got here around 7:30 pm. Had a glitch with the 1st GPS directions. Double check before following. Took me on a surrounding hill, although drive was nice. Lovely, peaceful night.

La nuit ici s’annonçait être une des plus belles. magnifique endroit. Par contre vers minuit deux hommes sont arrivés et ont sorti quelque chose de lourd du coffre et sont allé dans les sentiers. C’était un peu étrange mais j’ai essayé de rester calme. L’un d’eux est sorti des sentiers vers 1h30AM et est revenu dans le parking en titubant, il parlait seul et n’était pas discret du tout. Il s’est approché de mon véhicule, a marché tout autour 2 fois comme pour intimider et a continué à parler seul... comme j’étais seule j’ai eu vraiment peur et ne m’est pas sentie en sécurité. Dès qu’il est retourné dans le sentier j’ai discrètement remis mon siège conducteur fonctionnel, mis mes chaussures, littéralement arraché mes rideaux et déguerpis. Je suis aller terminer ma nuit dans le Walmart à 15 minutes de là. Femmes seules hors saison: soyez prudentes. Je pense que cette mésaventure est une exception, mais elle m’a assez ébranlé pour revoir mes choix futur d’endroits à dormir.

Belle place tranquille, aucun bruit et très noire. Le gazon est très long, style mauvaise herbes…beaucoup de maringouins mais une vue superbe!

We arrived around 8:30pm and we were the only ones for the night. It was very quiet and we could listen to the birds sing in the morning. No one bothered us. Be sure to stay off the side roads because they are dangerous!

Busy spot, no privacy, no toilets. Had hoped there’d at least be a view from my vehicle, but parking is sheltered from the shore behind an embankment. The beach to the left was pretty though, and the sunset was nice over the farm. Make sure you stay out of the side roads; very dangerous.

As described. Some people showed up to fish around 8pm and I heard them leaving around midnight, and others came to fish around sunrise, so it seems no issue to park overnight as odd hour visitors are common here.
Gorgeous views, a very fresh and strong manure smell the night we arrived was the only downside 😆.

As described. Arrived after dark. Random cars parked in parking area, making it awkward to park there. As a result, we are parking behind the lot, potentially blocking a gravel road. Not an ideal spot on weekends… especially if arriving after dark.

Lots of people coming and going to
1- watch the Piping Plovers = amazing.
2- fish from the shoreline.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed our night there.

Small public parking lot where people are welcome to enjoy the views of the area. Level enough, no “no”’signs. It’s also a research area for migrating birds and has info about the dikes. Water views surrounded by farm land,at the end of a short dirt road.
