Isolated dispersed camp site slightly off of Shrine Pass Rd. There is a turnoff that is big enough to fit a trailer, then if you continue further back you’ll reach a little spot with a great view! Great cell service!
The road is closed from November through the end of may or until the road is no longer wet. We came May 22, 2021 and it was not open for the Summer season yet.

We camped a little before this spot at a little platform made of rocks, red rocks and red dirt. The view was mind blowing with this amazing little cold breeze, it was true paradise and a must go if you are near! We slept there only one night but would’ve wanted to sleep there many more!
Report Check-InAwesome place up Shrine rd. It’s a dirt road immediately off the 70. Sedans are definitely welcome. There are pull off spots up the road, but as you reach the top you’ll see some open fields where people might be camped out. Free camp spots. There were some make shift fire pits. The environment is very wet right now, but it was a beautiful crisp morning.
Report Check-InShrine Pass road. If you keep going down the road past the little rest area with cars, and bathroom keep going until you see sign, and your able to turn right. It goes up high but there are maybe 7-10 sites. The road dead ends about 10 miles in. So you can camp up in the secluded spots (mosquitos are around). No water, just the bathroom at rest area, no garbage, fire rock rings, no streams, AT&T 1-2 bars. Was able to stream with 1. Found 2 bars luckily.
Report Check-InRoad is closed from the highway as of June 9th. Bummed bc it looked dope to camp
Report Check-InBeautiful spot! Light snow on the ground but still very accessible
Report Check-InGreat views with enough space for two camper vans. There was a fire ring and woke up to a little snow falling in the morning.
Report Check-InSkinny dirt road up a mountain. Saw lots of camper vans and overlanders parked and camping on the pull offs so we did the same. Peaceful night. Beautiful in the morning. Free.
Report Check-InRoad is closed with gate even in June.. not sure if it ever would be open.
