Description

During the day this is pay parking but after 5, free. Big rigs may need more than one spot but probably fine at night, not sure. We moved here after doing laundry and no one bothered us. We saw an RCMP car go past once. Free ShawGo Wifi. There are toilets and showers by the ferry terminal down the block but currently closed due to COVID. During the day washrooms at Visitor's Centre were open. 4G+ cell reception. Restaurants near by as well as IGA supermarket. Quiet.

Latest Check-Ins

We stayed here for night 1 ahead of catching the ferry to Alert Bay (recommend!!) the next day. We were leaving our vehicle and traveling as foot passengers so had to pay for parking the following day so we purchased a 24hrs ticket ($5). Stayed overnight in lot D as it looked a quieter spot and moved to lot A in the morning to catch the ferry. Quiet stay and no one bothered us :)

Report Check-In

we stayed in the A Lot. quiet night. not very level but a good spot for catching the ferry. there is also the D lot a couple of blocks away that would be good for a larger rig and much more level. nice grassy lot. it's the harbor long term parking lot so buy a ticket at the vending machine by lot A before hand. ...$5.25 per day

Report Check-In

Slept here for 4 nights. The showers are $5.25 for the whole day. Right next to the ferry, but quite at night.

Report Check-In

We parked in the gravel parking lot to visit Alert Bay. Since we paid for 24 hours, we stayed for the night! It was quiet, great view on the harbour. The wifi didn't work after hours.
