Latest Check-Ins

Great place to stop for the night. Room for multiple vehicles, but we were the only ones there. Had cell service and honestly did not find the sound of cars every so often too loud.

Report Check-In

Pulled in around 4:pm to spend the night. An hour or so later highway patrol was knocking on the door, and informed me it was illegal to camp on the side of Oregon State Highways. As I am from out of state he cut me some slack, so could get a good nights sleep before moving on in the morning. So best advice to the wise... make other plans.

Report Check-In

This spot is straight 💩...right on the highway. I don't know why anyone would want to stay here 🤷‍♂️

Report Check-In

Just a patch of dirt next to the highway. A fallen tree blocks the road going further into the forest. Plenty of noise from passing cars but felt safe. Very convenient for a night.

Report Check-In

Ok for a night. Right next to highway with cars at night. bring earplugs and it's ok

Report Check-In

pretty large open space. Out E150 fits perfect. Could fit 2. noticed the forest road is closed until further notice due to a land slide. entire spot seems fair game until repairs are completed. no date scheduled.

Report Check-In

Excellent for an overnight. We got in after dark, just before 10. The passing vehicles quieted down by 11. It was fairly quiet until logging trucks started passing by after 8:00.

Report Check-In

Lots of trees down and big puddle blocking access, but still room to park a couple of rigs. A little closer to the hwy and so probably not quite as quiet as for previous visitors.

Report Check-In

As described, minimal noise from the 101 so nice and quiet. usable but flakey t-mobile LTE.

Report Check-In

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

This spot has a no overnight parking sign clearly posted.

Report Check-In

Nice somewhat quiet spot for a night! Stay just outside of the gate in the large gravel lot. 2-3 bars of Verizon. We were the only ones there.

Report Check-In

Open area outside the gate, before you go up Cascade Head Rd. Plenty of room for several vehicles next to the treeline on the north side so as not to block the gate.

Nothing there, just a spot to park. Some traffic until nighttime, dies off after dark. A few cars coming and going on Cascade Head Rd since it's "season", gate should be closed Jan 1 - Jul 15.

3-4 bars 4gLTE AT&T.
