Free 72hr parking. Downtown, no amenities. There is a public restroom down the street, but it was closed. Highly recommend visiting the Sanford Lab Homestead Visitor Center. It's a museum dedicated to the history of the town and the mining that occurred here and to the future of the town and the science of deep matter that currently occurs. Really amazing stuff.

24hr parking only signs up and it’s a pretty tiny parking lot with an incline so we moved on to the other lot down the road. Great Verizon reception though!
Report Check-InSmall public parking lot in town with 72 hour limit. Right next to the road so there is road noise. Close to restaurants, laundromat, gas station. Cute little town. Not big enough for big rigs, but fine for some smaller rvs and for vans. 2 bars T-Mobile LTE but service is slower than usual.
