Large gravel parking area. When I arrived, there was 218 wheelers and two camper vans here, but plenty of space.
Report Check-Inbeautiful park. talked with another person here to stay overnight, she called ahead and was told no, they even have a camping sign.out in front of the park. we left because of her report
Report Check-InNice park! Mostly quiet evening except for the occasional truck. Bathrooms possibly open all night (they were open at 9:30pm and 7:30am).
Report Check-InPerfect! Exactly as described. Soccer teams practising. Basketball happening. As Alabama Welcome Center mentioned, we had several trucks parking next to us, and we stayed put. They weren't refers but left around 3 am. disturbing our sleep. So many other places to park, we should have moved, but that's our issue, not the park. Well worth the stop. Quiet night by 6:30 p.m. everyone was gone from the park. Walked to buy groceries. Sweet place!
Report Check-InLarge parking area behind Cottonwood Playground. Was a great place to stop for the night. A few big rigs also parked here. Bathrooms are nearby in the park, but it’s possible they get locked up in the off season. Trash cans and a dumpster available.
Report Check-InWe parked between the public park and the fairgrounds. The bathrooms were open when we arrived and were getting cleaned when we woke up the next morning. The park is large and our dog loved running around. They have nice tables with umbrellas to keep you somewhat shaded. It’s close to a gas station, coffee shop, and a small grocery store. Nice spot if you’re passing through!
Report Check-InGreat little community park to stay for night. Off the main road, you can still hear the trucks going by slowly but it didn’t bother us.
Some people came and played basketball in the evening but were all finished by 9:30 pm. Then it was quiet.
Lot is large, level and big rig friendly.
There was a semi truck and trailer parked there for night too.
Didn’t stay the night here, but for families there’s a great playground and a big open park with shelters and picnic tables.
Report Check-InGreat spot for a stopover. Was honked at in the morning, but no other problems.
