Nice spot above the river, in the forest. Has a fire ring. Some trash :( View of water & direct Path to the river :) Close to the road which can be a bit busy on the weekends but quiets down at night. This is one of about 8 spots between here and the highway to the south (16east). Probably more spots to the north of here! Despite the many signs saying the road is closed (they’re building a parking lot for the waterfall), it was not when we passed through on Saturday and Sunday. No cell Service (Verizon) anywhere along this county road. Go see the falling water waterfall & swimming hole just up the road - added a picture of it!

definitely a coll place to camp for a night or two... especially if you are on an adventure bike. though I didn't see anything a car couldn't make it through if you went slow. if you take the spot right by the creek and it storms, keep an eye on the water levels. I had about 2 feet of bank height before I would have had to move my camp in the middle of the night.(;
Report Check-InI am one spot away from the original poster's site. This area is gorgeous! There is a little traffic occasionally on the road. not as much as during the weekend, though everyone was friendly and respectful; waving and smiling and saying hello and such.
No cell service on T-Mobile.
The stream is beautiful, and there are frog sounds all night! I got here on May 1st and plan to leave on May 6 or 7. I'll update if things change, but so far, I am totally smitten with this spot.
Great place 16 Free campsites along river on 10 mile road towards the Paid Campground at the 10 mile mark. No cell service and cars do pass bye from time to time
