A nice, flat, paved trailhead with room for 35 vehicles or so.
A clean pit toilet.
A bit close to highway 20 but traffic at night is not heavy.
Must display a US Forest Service Forest Pass to use this site.
On a Monday night in September there was just one other overnighter there, a pickup camper.

trail parking right off the main road. can get noisy but has toilet and picnic table. NO signs saying "no camping". other trailheads had signs , so it seemed alright here.
Report Check-InBusy trailhead but hiked to the lake in the late afternoon and then spend the night. Quiet after dark no one else around. Need a northwest pass. No water and no cell service. Pit toilet was pretty bad.
Report Check-InLots of campers here. Little road noise. Pit toilet. No at&t or Verizon service. No potable water
Report Check-InSpent a couple nights, popular climbing spot so lots of other folks staying as well. $5 per day or need northwest forest pass/national parks pass. Very packed weekends.
Report Check-InSpent one night here before going to Ross Lake. There were a lot of other cars/vans as well. Even at the end of June there were quite a few spots still covered in snow.
Report Check-InNice big parking lot for trailhead. About 10 others slept in the lot as well. Interagency Pass works here, too. Clean pit toilets! Awesome hike!
Report Check-InLof of campervans. Some tents too. Quiet. No amenities because toilets closed. One picnic table. Good.
Report Check-InStill totally snow covered! Room for about 3 vehicles to park right off road at the moment.
