Description

* Private Property

Gravel road up into the mountains with several pull-offs and parking lots along its length. Road is steep in some spots, but was passable without 4wheel and probably don't need high clearance either.

There's a pulloff right at the beginning of the road, then a set of trailhead parking lots. The parking lots are signed for no camping within a couple hundred feet of the road, although it wasn't clear if that covers sleeping in vehicles or was just aimed at setting up tents.

These coordinates are for a pulloff in the woods farther up the road, a little ways before you reach a house near the end of the road. The pulloff is mostly flat and will fit a car/van, but probably not a trailer. The road continues past the house but I didn't go past the sign identifying the end of the maintained portion of the road.

Stayed one night and only saw 2 cars pass, so fairly quiet.

Good Verizon 4G service.

Latest Check-Ins

Small lot about a mile up Honey Hollow Road, large enough for about 4 cars or one medium rig. I was worried about the road being gravel, as some other reviews said, but my 2-wheel drive SUV had no problem. Good cell service for being pretty far out. Very quiet, arrived at 9 pm and had the lot to myself. I left around 9 am the next morning and saw just one car pass the whole time. Peaceful and comfortable for a night!

Great cell reception and beautiful area. next morning some locals going up and down the road on walks/runs. one shouted loudly you’re camping on private property and then left. Love this area but probably wouldn’t stay again for this reason.

Report Check-In

Great shaded area with some cell reception.

Pretty step Hill but allright for pretty all véhicule with big ball conductor

Report Check-In

Several pull offs. Was left alone. Good Verizon service. Some of the pull offs have “no camping in parking areas”, but like previously stated, I think as long as you’re respectful and don’t put out a tent in the parking areas, I think you should be fine.

Report Check-In

The road was pretty much how originally described - steep and gravel covered. Able to easily navigate it with our AWD lifted Sienna. There were a few vehicles at pull offs along the way, but we ended up at this one and had it all to ourselves. Big enough for a second car or a bigger van. There were a few spots along the way that were near hiking trailheads and signed as no camping. Only one car passed by after we set up. We were able to stream Netflix. We only stayed one night.
