Free spot where you can park with very nice view of the lake. it is a bit narrow the place to park but it is ok to spend an evening. Also safe in the night. you can access the lake. Strong cell signal with Claro.

Wow! We really loved this place! Yes it is quite fenced, but with a van (also bigger ones) you can park just at the side of the road and still enjoy this amazing view and reach the water by feet. It is very quiet at night and feels very safe.
We stayed 2 nights, took a bath in the very nice and clean lake and really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect spot for us after busy Medellín and Guatapé-City.
Report Check-InThe place is extremely fenced now. The gap left in the fence is so narrow, that it's hard to pass it on a bigger motorcycle, even if you would remove the panniers. We slept at the other place near the damn instead.

Report Check-InRoadside parking near the lake with views of El Peñol. Lots of traffic during the day on weekends but super quiet at night. Families come here to fish. Spent a few peaceful days here..
Report Check-Invery quiet spot on the road, to spend a few days. free access to the lake where we bathe, excellent view, sometimes come people to fish. the road Is very quiet because it finishes some metres ahead in the vertedero. In the night is very lonely and dark but neibours said it is very safe. 4x2 not necesary.
