ok place to spend the night. along with us there were 3 more who spent the night. somewhat noisy in the evening and morning, but the night was quite and nice.
Report Check-InThe “me” in the previous checkin is Pickleballnomad. Forgot to register first.
I would stay here again.
Spent the night here last night. It’s essentially a wide spot on Rte 1, but fairly quiet over night considering. 3-4 cars and 1 rv stopped to use the outhouse, but no one else stayed. No do not park signs. Picnic tables and a couple firepit/grills. Sweet beach at the bottom of a short path. Nice. 4 bars Tmobile 5g
Report Check-InGreat location for a one night or two night stay. I live out of my suv so it’s a lot easier to stay two nights and not stick out. Great view of the lake ! Has a bonfire pit. Really close to the highway. Loud. Has a decent restroom. I stayed here two nights. No problem.
Report Check-InThis spot is a lot smaller than I thought. My van was shaking when cars sped by and it was pretty loud. Very cute and pretty but def wouldn’t have slept well if I wasn’t so exhausted .
Report Check-InHad a fantastic view from the van, though extremely noisy road! Vault toilet was cleanish and mighty handy. This spot is only for vans, not rigs over 20’ and just barely off a very busy road. Still great for stopping if going to Acadia National park!
Report Check-Incute place by the water, access to a toilet, but lots of traffic passing close by (its a rest are on the side of a main road). Some trucks stops during the night, it could be scary. no access to potable water. ok for a one night stay.
Report Check-InI wasn’t sure if this was gonna work, but parked my car here all night and slept in it no problem! You’re literally right next to the road so there is definitely car noise but nothing ear plugs can’t fix!
Report Check-InGood place to stop for the night. Can’t beat free for under an hour from Acadia. Traffic from the highway sounds very close but there’s plenty of room to pull off. No one else parked overnight and was not bothered. Pit toilet and picnic tables.
Report Check-InNice location with fire pits, bbq, picknick benches, restroom and beach acces which is perfect for fishing. If you catch something you can grill and eat right there
