There are 2 campgrounds with about 40 campsites each. As well as backcountry camping. I stayed at the pine campsite and was there during the off season there was only one other camper at the site with me. Trash cans and pit toilets. Cost is 8$, self register at the HQ down the road. Staff is friendly and passionate about there little chunk of trees surrounded by corn and soy.

Latest Check-Ins

Second time here. Still very quiet. Two cars drove through and didn’t stay. There is a water faucet just across from the pit toilets.

Report Check-In

Super quiet campground with lots of shade. Horse trails provide a chance for some light hiking, but we encountered quite a few ticks on the trail. Pit toilet was clean. When we were here, a Sunday in July, there were only two other people in the campground.

As described previously. I’m having no problem with phone service 2 bars ATT. We are the only ones here on a Friday night. My daughter says it has a Forks, WA vibe.

Alli's check-in notes are spot on.

This place is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a corn & soybean desert.

It's still only $8/night and perfect for a last-minute stay.

I stayed at Pine Camp. Right now I'm the only one here.

LTE with AT&T is in-and-out at site B9. But usable.

The keeper that checked me in, Mike, will talk your ear off if you let him. I did, because he's funny, friendly & generous. He genuinely loves this place.

Has a very Pacific-Northwest-y feel with all the non-native pine trees
