Good bush camp, hidden from the road and wind. Good views and easy way to explore the penguin site the next morning before tourists arrive.

before taking the road to the spot, go watch it by foot. The water destroyed it when we went there so we couldn't take it.
Report Check-InExcelente lugar para hacer camping 1 o 2 noches. Cerca está la pingüinera de cabo 2 bahías que vale la pena conocer. Se puede bajar al mar caminando y dejar la 4x4 en un playón arriba.
Report Check-InNice spot. Quiet and not visible from the road. The night we spent there was not windy but this place looks to offer some wind protection. Firepits. Flat. No GSM range.
There are two ways of getting it:
1. driving to pinguineria turn left next to the sign Caleta Paton. You find it just after steep slope descent (rough, 4x4 recomended)
2. Another option is to turn left about 600m before the Caleta Paton sign. Easier to drive. No 4x4 needed.
Beautiful place to camp. We checked several spots but this one was the best in terms of shelter. Hidden from the road and good chance to have shelter from the wind thanks to the dunes. A very nice beach is located behind the dunes. Follow the road towards the reserve, about 8km before the reserve go left at the Caleta Paton sign. Recommended!
