Description
Saw signs for this rec site so we drove in to check it out, the gate is closed right now (October 1st) so I guess it closes for off season but I would come back to check it out in the summer time. Large campsite (46 sites) pit toilets, picnic tables and fire pits. I’m assuming it’s free as there’s no signs stating a fee and it’s similar to other free rec sites in the area. Just wanted to add the location as it wasn’t marked on the app already :)

Really beautiful recreation site directly at the lake. Some reserved spots, some first come first serve. Paid 18$ for one night, clean pit toilets, no drinking water available. Sometimes a bit noisy due to generator use (restricted hours) but otherwise really quiet and calm. Would recommend :)

Report Check-InWe managed to find a FCFS site and stayed for two nights at $15/night. The hosts were very friendly. There is a boat launch and beautiful beach to enjoy.
