Dispersed camping spot off the main road. There are multiple spots along the way before the road meets a dead end. 14 day limit. Near town and paid campsites. 2 bars of Verizon LTE, some for T-Mobile.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The lower site is being used to stage brush for burning. There is still room to camp and sites further up the road might be more clear, I don't check. There is also what looks like an abandoned tent trailer.
Report Check-InPassing through on the motorcycle(Suzuki M50). It's easy to get to the first spot. Road does continue and may have more but is a bit rocky to get through. Nice stream nearby, slight road noise but doable. There's a trail before you get to this site that goes across to another site but it's super close to the road and visible to the road.... if this one isn't available.
Report Check-InWay too narrow after the initial steep section of the road. We couldn’t fit through with our truck and travel trailer. Good option for high clearance vans, tent campers, etc.
Report Check-InThis spot is up a short slightly steep road. the dirt road then continues with many more camping sites. Also, if you drive past this road, the next two rights off of 186 have more spots as well.
