Something not right?

Description

This is a relatively big dirt field behind 76 gas station before the housing starts. Some cars drive down the road but quieted down around 10pm. Looks like it can fit rigs of all sizes.

Not much to see here, however a good place to spend the night close to hwy 1. Park towards the back near fence and houses, a food truck parks in the section near gas station.

Porta-potty there but locked.

Latest Check-Ins

Description and comments are accurate. I stayed for one night and was the only vehicle (I made sure to park closer to the fence). I felt safe and there were no issues. It was pretty dark. There was some noise from the highway, but I wore ear plugs which helped me sleep. In the morning, I left around 6:30am and did not see the food truck. I would recommend this dirt lot for an overnight stay.

As described. Good option for spending the night.

A good, quiet dirt lot. As people have said, make sure you park near the fence and out of the way of the taco stand. It's next to a neighborhood so there is some foot and car traffic, but no one bothered us.

Nothing special to see here but it was a safe spot for a night. Food truck arrived in the morning.

Good place for a quick night right beside highway 1. No food truck on Sunday!! There was two other vehicles parked with us.

Dirty lot parking. Good for 1 night and continue your trip. 2 vans and 1 RV where there.

At 7am a food truck arrives and hi rented a place, so have that in mind and be nice.
Burrito breakfast was really good. And if you buy they have a toilet pit ;)

Report Check-In

We had a good night of sleep here.
Been warned at 7 a.m. by the food truck's lady. My fault, I was parked in their drive-thru. You have to park near the houses, along the wooden fence. They rent the half of the lot that is close to the gas station. We bought breakfast burritos from them (veggies and chorizo), they were really good.

Big empty dirt lot, arrived 9pm and stayed till around 1pm no knocks no issues, stay to the side tho cuz El Flamingo Taco truck parks up here during the day. Good vegi burritos!

Report Check-In

Showed up at 10pm and there were two other campers there already.
Didn’t have any problems.
A fair bit of road noise from highway 1, but slept fine. Had two bars of cell service.

Report Check-In

We slept on the road a little ways from the dirt pullout, wanting to be more stealthy. There was a barking dog in the area, and we didn’t want to tip off any neighbors. The road was a popular spot for locals to park, so it seemed like a fine idea. Straddling the dip, we slept on a level with peace and quiet. The morning after, we were happy we didn’t park at the lot. There was a taco truck and 4-5 other trucks.
