Description
Beautiful site with campsites and timber chalets near the falls after which the place is named. Flat level grassy sites with sparse shade, all with electricity, braai places (BBQ) and water taps, simple but clean ablutions with hot showers, big lapa and kitchen (closed when we were there). Michael the owner is very welcoming and interesting to talk to. Hiking and extreme Grade 5 4x4 trail. Good gravel access road from main N9 road. Highly recommended. Turn off the N9 at S33° 46.134' E22° 47.328'.

Awesome food at the Resturaunt
Really excellent stop. For those of you who don’t use GPS coordinates if you are coming from the north east (Uniondale) better to skip the first turning and continue along the R62 / N9. Otherwise it’s about 30 km of dirt road - quite a good dirt road and wonderful scenery but maybe not what you need after a long drive. But the Juice is definitely worth the squeeze!!
Report Check-InFlat grass to camp on Showers and toilets are clean. Rather braai, the restraunt, on the night we were there, was disappointing. May have changed. Fantastic rock pools for swimming.

Report Check-InWhat a nice stop over. Every thing worked and the camp sites are good and the views into the kloof are fantastic. Nice and relaxing and cost effective. I did see a bar so cold beer was available. the web site needs to be pointed to new folder... so ww.eaglefalls.co.za/a
