Darien Rest stop (South) | Informal Campsite

Stayed for a night without issue. Safe parking - Very noisy from busy Highway noise all through the night.

Note there are 2 hour parking signs. Inside the service plaza they have 24 hour food options with a clean seating area and restrooms.

service plaza. lots of trucks. no separate parking for RV's that we found, but it works for the night.

Stayed here for the night, there were plenty of other campervans and cars doing the same.

24 hours with clean toilets

we did notice a couple of signs saying there was a 2 hour parking limit, but we had no issues.

Decent spot for the night. I pulled up at around 8pm and got some snacks. Stayed until the next morning with no issues.

Definitely not quiet since it's right on the highway, but no signs forbid overnight parking and there were several other vehicles around which also stayed overnight.

This is a typical “Service Plaza” known to the Northeast - the last option for us. It’s right along the highway so it’s very noisy as can be expected, but as traffic dies down can be quieter. The saving grace was there was 1 well-maintained van with us.

Clean, safe, comfortable for a small van. Small grocery, food chains, free wifi that doesn't reach to parking lot. #thetravelingvuzz

This is a decent spot to stop for the night. There were 3-4 other vans in the lot. It was fairly quiet for being right off the interstate.

nice quiet rest stop to park for the night. 2nd time here no complaints. There are restrooms an food an also gas if needed.
