Nice Riverside free camp, trees for privacy and shade, fresh water pool for swimming, enough space for 30 cars. Used in the day for kayaking drop off, a little road noise but otherwise excellent, with little bugs. Since it's low and flat, may not be suitable when the river is flooded.

We slept two nights at this point. We crossed all the rocks and slept next to the river in the narrowest part. We were driving low and ended up getting stuck in the rocks, but it was easy to get out. The night was quite peaceful, the police showed up but I don't think they saw us. The river is beautiful! and the lagoon next door is equally beautiful. It's a good place to camp... we had a roof tent in the car.
Report Check-InGood spot to camp along the river. Drive downriver as far as you can go to a couple of nice spots. We drove the gravel bar in 2wd no problem.
Quiet at nite.
Would stay again.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot but it’s hard to find a place where the rocks are small enough for freestanding tents to set up comfortably
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. Hidden from the road. With a 4x4 you can drive quite a bit back on the stony beach. Otherwise you can stay a little further up. Calm at night. Few locals passed by.
Report Check-InReally good spot by the river. The river level was low, so we went to the big area bellow, I have a sprinter van 4x2, no problem at the beginning of the space. Peaceful and silent, just little noise from the road. Don't leave any trash behind and check-in here if you visited this place, so another person can have your opinion.
Report Check-Ingreat place, very calm e beautiful. just check the river level before sleeping too close to it! we had no problems.
Report Check-Inamazing place for campervans ! large, quiet, along the clear water of the river, unseen by the road, and stars are beautiful at night ! we stayed 2 nights and could have stayed much more !
Report Check-Inone of our favourite spots to wild camp so far. very quiet, a few kayakers if the evening time and some locals for a walk but otherwise very quiet overnight. we are only 2wd so stayed in the first section before the big tree
Report Check-InVery nice place to sleep, a lot of space. If you have a 4x2 dont try to go so fas and stay in the beginning of the spot, for 4wd you can go over the rocks. No much happens at night, next morning some tourist came to take pictures and some locals to colect rocks. Recommended
Report Check-InWe parked our van on the higher spot, just before the flat gravel area at the water. beautiful place, good to spend the night. some traffic but not much. also good for a swim!
Report Check-InStayed here for two nights while we checked out the area, rafted the Futalafu and fly fished the rio Espalon. Great camp with lots of room. We actually camped here and then drove in to town, only to drive back here to launch for an easy float with the kids. Excellent place!
Report Check-InMultiple beautiful spots next to the water. Check to not get off the 'path' as you will get stuck by the slippery stones as we did with our 2-wheel drive.
Report Check-InBuen lugar para acampar (al entrar a la derecha hay un espacio plano con arena) o dormir en el coche, y también para pegarse un baño en el río por la mañana.
Report Check-InAfter visiting Futalefu and checking out other spots to spend the night we came back the 4km and stay here. Beautiful place but it was freezing at night.
Report Check-InGreat spot, stayed a little closer to the road as the water level seemed high. Three other groups here. Road noise wasn’t bad. Would stay here again.
Report Check-InGreat spot for the night, right on the river! Quiet during the night. Near the highway so can hear cars during the day with a few visitors as well.
Report Check-InReally nice place at the river. The first place at the left and right are a little bit higher than the rest. We had lots of rain and the river level was really high, so the gravel area before the big tree flooded a little bit, the two higher places where perfect. After the big tree it is loose gravel, so don’t go there with a 2WD. Quiet at night. In the day some short visits from some other cars
Report Check-InReally nice spot directly on the river. You can hide behind the bushes to have very good wind protection. Also you are not visible from the street. You can hear cars from the street, but there is not much traffic, quiet at night. Access was no problem for our 2WD mini van.
Report Check-Innice place to have a picnic or sleep. there is also very good 3G from Entel
Report Check-InThis place is big. You can stay on the rocky beach or hide (like us) in small place on the right side just after you leave the road. You can find some wind protection (but not many). The main road is close by, but not too much traffic during night and it is paved so its not so loud.
Accessible for all kinds of vehicles (with 4x4 you can acces some remote hidden places). Some Entel mobile signal. Mosquitoes.
Lugar lindo, tranquilo, bom para nadar, pode dormir na beirada do Rio Espolón, pescar , água clara natural.
Report Check-InPerfect place near to the river. You can swim and the water is deep blue! Super cool :)
Report Check-InNice place by the river. Water from the river, a little noise from the street and a marvelous view.
Report Check-InQuite great flat spot to park a rig, or lots of them. VERY little option for tents though, as it’s made up of river boulders. Us & one bike packer group of two cyclists. Locals hung out until sundown. Right at water level, so be aware of possible river level changes.
Report Check-InWe drove in but would have missed it because co-ordinates are for the spot by the river rather than where you need to turn to get down to the river so we have corrected the coordinates.
Report Check-InNice spot at the river, we saw a kingfisher flying by twice. Quiet no problems of dust as the road is far enough. As said please take your litter with you.
Report Check-InArea was flooded after a week of heavy rain, but still enough room for us and another group who we drank vino and toasted malvaviscas with over the campfire (two vehicles and two tents in total). Beautiful spot, but unfortunately another one that is not cared for by its users.. we carried out three supermarket bags full of previous campers trash (as well as our own). Please take your trash with you and pick up any you see lying around.. let's keep it beautiful for everyone!
