Small Trailhead Parking lot for the Allegheny Passage Trail. Big enough for a small class C or class B.

Rolled into here at 3am as I was passing through the area and could not drive any longer. There were no other cars there when I parked and it was a quiet night except for the train honking every so often. Around 7:30 people started coming to park and walk the trail.
There is a geocache right in the parking area, which would have been a nice bonus for me to find before continuing on the road, but it was buried in liquor bottles.
Quiet. Room for several cars. No amenities but there is cell service.
Report Check-InKinda cramped for more that 1 or 2 vehicles. I would suggest going on down to Whitsett, near the ballfields. Quite little place night lights and more secure.
Report Check-Inno equipment here now. There is a 150 ft limestone cave above the parking lot. It's at about the same elevation as the bridge. You can get to it by going up the small dirt road before the entrance to the parking lot and turn right to the top of buff and look for a trail.
Report Check-InSmall parking lot not usually too busy. I stayed here a couple weeks ago on a Saturday night and there was construction equipment parked in the lot. Stayed here again last night (Sunday night to Monday morning) and they started working around 6:30am. Just make sure to park in a corner as far away as possible from the equipment if you stay here, they didn’t bother me or threaten to tow me this morning thankfully.
