Something not right?

Description

Stayed here for one night. Beautiful established campground on the river with mountains in the background. Near the main road so there is some road noise but it’s not bad. Has toilets and potable water! Some Verizon service but it was spotty. Fast when it wants to work though! Highly recommend this site!

as described. campsites plentiful. only potable water is at the upper Birch Creek camp.

Report Check-In

Had the place mostly to myself. Lots of litter and a dead rabbit that someone shot with a pellet gun nearby - packed out what I could but there was a lot of garbage left.

Pretty heavy wind overnight that made it tough to sleep in a loud tent but RVs would've had no problem. Recommend tucking into the trees as much as possible if you're tent camping.

Couldn't find any firewood for sale on my way south, so plan ahead. Dry wood on the ground is scarce and it's well posted not to cut the remaining trees on the creek since we need the wind break!

Report Check-In

We stayed here for one night, and there were a lot of spots to choose from. Some road noise, and the wind picked up a little overnight but it’s a very pretty spot to camp.

Large selection of spacious campsites along the creek. Can get very busy on weekends. Free and well-maintained. No potable water.

Just as described. Lovely little creek and some mature trees that provide a bit of shelter in the wind. Plenty of spots. We didn't get any cell service the night we pulled in but had a tiny bit the following morning. Would recommend 👍

Report Check-In

Quick spot off the road between Idaho Falls and Salmon. BLM land, with a gravel road. Needed a tent site, so we were lucky to find this spot. Lots of travel trailers, but relatively quiet. Can hear 28, but there is very little traffic.

Bonus to getting in after dark is the surprise mountains across the highway.

Report Check-In

This recreation areas is approximately a 3/4 mile long, with well dispersed sites lining a decent sized creek. Several bathrooms spread out along the creek, and only about 20% were occupied, many of them with day users fishing the creek. Didn’t stay, needed to go further, but would have stayed happily. With the creek, come prepared for mosquitoes.
