I was here in the fall and it was lovely. Spring it’s great as well. Nice rest from driving in a sweet state park

Great campground for a road trip! All above amenities were there, plus plugs in the rest rooms! There is no signage saying the water is potable which made me nervous at first, but it was fine.

Report Check-In

As reported great but small State Park with showers. But I think the real story here is this park is only 15 miles off I-95. There is no sign on the interstate for this park or I am sure it would be full every night. Very clean and manicured sites and facilities. You can book a site at NC state parks.

Beautiful campground. Small fee to camp but the grounds are maintained. Gravel campsites with trees surrounding the area. Clean bathrooms with showers. Friendly people. Lots of bugs at night but they are drawn to the lights so wasn’t a big deal. Only see the bugs at night . Definitely worth a stop if your in the area. Traveled here with a dog.
