Description

Nice rest area, recently re-opened, super clean!

Restrooms are heated and very clean. Water is hot in the sinks, air is hot coming out of the dryers.

Clean water available outside at fountains and also spigots (8) just to the west of the restrooms (you'll see signs about conserving water).

Lots of covered picnic benches, great scenery around, shops just down the road if you want a bite to eat or souvenirs, ample parking.

There is a train that runs often on the other sidenof the highway and they blow their horn every time because of a railroad crossing, but if you're a sound sleeper, it's no big deal.

Lots of parking, some are more level than others (especially at the very end spots that look to the rock west).

Quite a few vending machines too for snacks and sodas.

Room for pets to roam around as well!

easy overnight with many spaces! picnic area and restrooms, plus water fills.

Le stationnement était pleins de VR et de truck donc nous avons stationner du côté des autos. Nous avons bien dormis malgré le bruit du train et de l’autoroute. Parfait pour une nuit. Les toilettes sont propres et vous pouvez mettre de l’eau.

If you are a light sleeper, the train noise is LOUD. But a good place to stop that seems popular.

A beautiful, clean, nice welcome center. There was no room for my 32ft motorhome in the truck area where I should have parked but found a fairly level spot near the picnic table area. stayed overnight and half the next day. beautiful surroundings. train and highway noise but didn't bother me. amazing place. thank you Arizona.

Report Check-In

Beautiful hills around, and very nice grass and trees around numerous ramadas. Lots of parking.
I had a good nights sleep.

Report Check-In

A lot of empty parking spots. Came here at 8 pm. No cell reception though, very very low….. and yes it’s noisy close to the road and train. But it’s not super noisy

Report Check-In

Plenty of space for vans and the like, highway and train noise is as you’d expect and on par for a spot like this. Not bad at all. I like it

It is crazy noisy here. It is packed. One truck pulls out, and another pulls in. Everyone of them is running a generator. Did I mention it was NOISY? As loud as all the truck generators are you can still hear the traffic on I 40 and the nonstop trains just beyond. Yes, there are vending machines, but they will take your money even when they are empty. Sorry about your luck. The pet exercise area is nice. There are water Spicket‘s that you could use to fill your tanks if there were a parking space available in front of them. Unfortunately, there are no spaces in front of them. I’m usually not bothered by noise but the decibel level here is through the roof.

NOISY. Soda vending machine took my two dollars, but was out of everything except water. Between the trucks all running their generators, the road traffic which is only 20 feet away in the trains which is just beyond that it is so loud you cannot hear yourself think. It is crowded. One truck pulls out in another pulls in. It does have a place to walk your dog. And there are spigots that you could fill up your water tank if you could get a parking face in front of one of them. Did I mention it was crowded? And NOISY?

Nice place to sleep. They told us we couldn't fill more than a jug of water.

Nice rest stop, lots of lighting & covered picnic areas. Only downside was lack of internet connection but still had Verizon service.

Report Check-In

Rest stop with clean bathrooms, vending machines, pet area, water filling stations, picnic area. Noisy from both the hwy and the train. Get here early because the truck/RV spots fill up quickly (before 8pm).

Bathrooms are open and clean! Some traffic and train noise, but overall fine.

Stayed here in my camper van for the night. There was a train that rain multiple times through the night. Bathrooms are currently closed, but it was a pleasant place with plenty of parking, picnic tables, and water spigots. Safe spot

Report Check-In

about 6 to 8 water spigots by the restrooms. plenty of room for overnight parking as well. extra parking past the restrooms if you hang right

Report Check-In

We spent a night here, it was clean with don't train noise. When we went to fill our tanks from the spigot the water was gross and brown. Luckily we filled a clear jug first. Beware.

Report Check-In

Nice. Lots of parking. Can hear highway and trains so ear plugs needed.

Water spouts with hose connector so you could fill fresh water tank on rig.

place for 4 legged friends.

good cell reception

Easy to miss exit going east because you can't see rest stop easily from road until you are past the exit. There is a sign 1/2 mile before exit but not right at exit. After you get off at exit turn left and follow signs.
