Free camping!!! Just pick a campsite and call the number on the sign. Most spots are very private.
Report Check-InEndroit parfait et très calme en nature! Gratuit! Nous avons sorti les kayaks et profité pour explorer la petite rivière.
Report Check-InThis place is nice and free! You've got to call the number when you get to your spot and then they'll get your info. There are 10 spots available to camp at. Great view of the river. Unless you've got 4x4, I wouldn't try to go back very far on the gravel road, but you can probably to get to the first few spots ok. Dog friendly and lots of wildlife. I woke up to deer outside of my window, and heard turkeys all day.
Report Check-InDO NOT DRIVE DOWN THE HIKING SPOTS. You will get stuck. Tread carefully with low clearance 2wd vehicles. Otherwise dope apots and awesome people around to help you out if you get stuck like I did. My bad!
Report Check-InVery nice park. Possible road issues when it is wet. Good cell service. Ten spots and multiple short trails.
Report Check-InThis place is absolutely lovely. We’ve already seen a turtle and a rabbit and we’ve only been here 10 minutes. Staying at campsite 6. Registering for camping is super easy, call the number others have provided! Be sure to check out the lookout point.
Report Check-InFREE camping!
stayed here 3 nights in our 24 ft rv! the night we came it was pouring rain so the ground was so mushy and wet, but we cradled into a spot and waited out the rain. once it dried up, the area is beautiful!
pros: great signal here! was able to do work and surf da web. its gorgeous here, so much wildlife! spaces are pretty far apart too.
cons: very local place and kinda rowdy on the weekend. Fri night there was a group of kids in their bronco and truck shooting guns and yelling from 9pm to 4am lol but on the weekday it was fine
overall well come back!

If it's raining or has rained, and you don't have AWD or 4×4 I don't recommend going.
A narrow road leads you to Hartig Park Pavillion. I suggest you most definitely get a map to help you find your campsite. Some campsites are drive in, and some you hike to. The main road is very hilly gravel/clay.
I stayed at campsite 8 and got stuck backing in. It had unfortunately rained the night before, and I have FWD. Some awesome passerbys helped us out.
If it we're dry sunny day I would be more quick to return.
Also don't bother calling the number until you know which campsite you'll be staying at. I still had Verizon service.
Report Check-InBeautiful sites, super quiet and easy to check in. There are some nice trails and a lovely scenic outlook.
