Great spot! Was able to drive the road no problem in my low clearance non 4 wheel drive vehicle, it was very well maintained all the way to this spot. Beautiful view! Set up a tent no problem. There’s a fire ring already established.

Thanks for sharing. Great spot and view.

Best spot in this area but the lack of shade made it a bit rough. Road was also miserable to hike for me and the dog as its very rocky. Cell service was good but some trash in the area with dumped animal remains. Steepness wasn't an issue if you maintain momentum, probably not a good idea to get a class a or tow a trailer up here due to the road, vans and cars will do fine. Good view but a bit boring.

Little bit of a steep road for bigger rigs, did it in a rav 4 with ease. Pretty quiet and out of the way other than some dirt bikes, one of the most stellar views of our trip! An absolute must for sunset, truly a breath taking view!! Definitely keep this one on the down low a really special spot that not many know about!

probably one of our favorite spots. You can see the ocean so that's pretty cool. no one bothered us & we've stayed multiple nights before. cool wildflowers in & some deer friends in the summer. this day we were here was rainy & very foggy. usually our tmobile hotspot is really good here but I guess bc of the fog this day it didn't want to work that well.

We saw 2 pull offs on the way to the top. There could have been more but we only saw the 2.
2 pull throughs with small campfire rings. (We use propane) Fog coming up the mountain was very thick. Beautiful views…It was like we were above the clouds. We only saw 1 car the whole night, as there are private residents off the main road leading to this spot.

Nice little turn out with some privacy from the few cars on the main road, beautiful view of the trees and can see the ocean in the distance. Getting 2 bars here with Verizon

Report Check-In

Road going up was very steep, but doable with 2WD. Got to the spot but the Verizon reception wasn't good enough for remote work (1 bar) so we had to move on. Beautiful views though!

Great spot! Spent two nights here. And only had a few cars drive past the road in all that time. Quiet, enjoyed the scenery and sounds of animals.

Report Check-In

Great views overlooking Crescent City and the Pacific Ocean. Fun to watch the fog roll in out over the mountains below. Good solar. A few cars have driven by in the day. Agree with OP, no fires. Fairly clean area. Did I mention the bonus 4G service? ( Verizon) Beautiful sunset. Interesting multiple graves below campsite...
