Something not right?

Description

Two blocks from the Twain boyhood home. Between two sets of train tracks. Must dig train whistles. Signs indicate bus/rv parking with no overnight prohibition. No issues. River walk under construction but still lovely. Weak at&t cel but serviceable. Kiwanis park next door. Right downtown.

nice place but the trains, wow. we were sleeping about 15' from them and the tracks are busy at night. we actually got used to them though. bathrooms closed for the season.

Great spot with no traffic but the trains come through many times. That didn’t really bother us. We parked at the south end inside a fenced area near raised boathouse. We’d stay again!

Beautiful sunrise view. Very quiet except the occasional train. Huge lot, very few vehicles. Lots of walkers and people fishing in the morning. Nobody bothered me. Great small town vibe. Near plenty of coffee shops and gas stations

Good place to stay a night. Bathrooms were closed for the season. Police car cruised through at one point, left us alone. Yes, there are trains, and they blow their whistles. Light sleepers beware. We slept fine though.

Yes, you must really dig trains for sure! Great location, but had 5 trains go by in 2hrs so decided to move to Walmart

Stayed here last night, no issue. Started getting busy around noon today as a full blown Steampunk Festival came to life, with booths and music and food trucks… Right on the mighty Mississippi, with ships and trains and the sweet, sweet bustle of a busy river town. A few other vans and campers have appeared, I may settle in for some people watching.
