Fabulous campsite. We didn’t know about this fabulous Nat Park and loved it. Parked on the riverbank. Good facilities. Lovely hikes, canoe rentals and near Wilderness to cycle etc. We loved our four night stay. Was busy over the weekend but didn’t bother us at all. Our Wildcard was accepted and we got a pensioner’s discount! Don’t miss out on this one!
Report Check-InWe paid total of R573 for two adults (SADC) + 1 vehicle for one night, including camping and conservation fee.
Nice enough site but very busy - tightly packed with caravanners, not much privacy.
Beautiful park with fab hikes.
Report Check-InMost has been said. Big bonus: no monkeys !
Could do with more water taps at sites.
Great campsites, each with a braai stand. Most campsites are along the riverfront. We’ve stayed on both North and South sides, both are nice. There are multiple ablutions. We’ve hired canoes, taken them up river and then hiked up to the waterfall. We’ve also done some of their day hikes.
***A SAN Parks wild card waives conservation fees here.
Report Check-InThis is a SANPARKS Resort, split into a north and a south section. Both sections have many grassed camping sites, each with braai facilities, electricity, etc. Ablution facilities, Laundry, wash-up facilities, are adequate, but fairly spaced apart.
We enjoyed the friendly geese, Guinea Fowl, ducks, etc.
