Description

$24 a night for open first-come first-serve spots (edit: on October 20, 2022 we paid $40 for a no-hookup site through recreation dot org, it was $72 for an electric site). Also has full RV hook-up spots. You can reserve spots ahead of time. Each spot has paved pull in and gravel spots to camp along with fire pit and picnic table. Bathrooms with showers and dumping stations available. Beautiful little walk/bike path along river. Just a few minutes drive up the road to town. Dog friendly.

Latest Check-Ins

Great campground close to Brevard and Looking Glass climbing areas.
First come first serve campgrounds, they close some of the sites for winter, but there were plenty available.
Can use their dump station only for $10 or it's included in your campsite fees.
There are showers, flush toilets, WiFi in parking area, and firewood for sale.

Large paid campsite near the river just off of the main highway. This place is 2 miles from grocery store, The Hub bicycle shop , restaurants etc , yet it feels remote. Lots of space on a November Wednesday evening. Flushing toilets. No WiFi or T-Mobile signal. I could receive texts. Beautiful location with picnic tables and fire rings.

Nice campground right on the river. Great for fishing apparently. Lots of mountain bikers too. All the first come spots were taken, but there were several available through reservation dot org. Pretty expensive IMHO. $40 for a no hookup site and $72 for electric. I pay less than that for my mortgage. Also there's no cell phone signal here, so you'll have to drive up to town a couple of miles away to make your reservation if you didn't do it ahead of time.

Great campground at the bottom of biking and hiking trails. Hot showers. Potable water, flush toilets, camp fires and more! Poor Verizon service..

Report Check-In

Nice campground located on the Davidson River in Pisgah National Forest. Close to the town of Brevard and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Some site with hookups, but many are dry camping. Has small bathhouse, but had plenty of hot water. We enjoyed staying here.

Report Check-In

Established campground with a mix of RV and tent sites. Some but not all have power hookups. Located on a river. Small bath house. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
