Description

There is tons of camping here. There is a marina. There are bathrooms and showers, but only in the summer. It’s five dollars self-pay. You can park right next to the lake. There are picnic benches and fire rings with grills. Full Verizon service. It’s a great spot 8 miles off of I70.

One of my favorite finds. Quiet, spacious, peaceful.

Top location. I believe there are also free spots, but we paid $10 at park entrance. Beautiful spots by the water and places to fill up water and even shower everywhere! Highly recommended.

Spot incroyable !

Great place with tonsss of campsites. Had almost an entire loop to myself with plenty of space for privacy. Overnight tent sight was only $12. Beautiful views that I did not expect traveling through Kansas. Very quiet as well. Definitely recommend!!!

One of the best state parks we have ever been to.!
Wide open spaces on a huge lake that has a Lake Mead vibe” to it. NEW bathhouses and friendly campground hosts that let us change or site to a better one with a fantastic view and more shade trees. Keep in mind it can blow like crazy but since it got to 98 degrees today the breeze was welcome. A site with no amenities cost us $12.50 for the night. Some sites have full amenities and would cost more. Don’t be that guy and try to stay for free. This is such a beautiful place it’s worth the money.

Very expansive campground with multiple areas to camp. Full hookups to primitive. Most of which are lakeside. I suggest driving around the camps to find your spot first then goin to pay station. Office hours are 8-6 and self pay after that. I posted photos of map and prices. A little buggy but a fire and deet candle helped. Here in late august and low of 72 at night so not bad for sleeping. 10 miles or so of 70. No highway noise. Fishing from sites available.

Try to camp in the open field spots. Stay away from the secluded sites at the dead end roads. People have used these sites as toilets :(

To be honest, I have never paid because I always come late at night. You can park right next to the lake. There are picnic benches and fire rings with grills. Full Verizon service.
