Honestly the best spot I’ve been to. Sleeping to the sound of the sea and waking up to fresh air omg yes. I came at 8:30pm and left at 12:30 pm. I’m not an earlier riser, woke up at 10am and I’m slow to get moving lol. No one bothered me and I was there by myself. I would definitely come again. Also down the road when there town is, you can access the beach that way and it’s a nice view, you can bring your pets.

Pretty nice view! No one bothered us here and we slept in our car from 10pm until 7:30am. Plenty of space for multiple cars or RVs though it was empty when we went

Beautiful and easy pull of camping. Can fit my 23’ RV here with no issues. Decent amount of highway noise but dies down significantly at night. Moderate cell service. 1 bar LTE with ATT

Report Check-In

Spent 1 night here undisturbed with about 3 other vehicles. Arrived here at around 9pm after spending the evening and making dinner at the beach car park down the road (free parking til dark and has toilets)

Report Check-In

Very noisy from road traffic. 9pm flashlight treatment by a state park ranger asking to fill out camp permit for $45 to literally just roadside park. Not a place for decent travelers. This spot is treated as an overflow for the state camp site on other side of the road, nothing is posted though.

Small Vista point to watch the sunset. No amenities.

Spent one night here. Beautiful place. If you park with the view to the ocean you might forget that there is a hwy next to it. Traffic dies down pretty much in the evening.
Absolutely recommend. Just keep it clean an easy, so everyone can enjoy this place

Great spot to spend the night. Beautiful view on the ocean. 1 little bar of signal.
We spend the afternoon working on our computers (great signal) on the parking « Big river beach », just 1 miles away then we came at 7pm on this spot.

Great spot. Quiet for most of night. No "No Parking" signs. Parked at 25 footer. Not a problem.

Beautiful sunset views. No problems. Road was quiet from 10 to 5. Patchy att and no tmobile. Early sunrise hikes in Mendocino followed by incredible eggs benedict at Good Life Cafe for a costly, but worth it, treat!

Report Check-In

Wide open lot. BEAUTIFUL views! Anyone can park here. We parked our 40’ RV overnight. Listened to the ocean from our bedroom window. Highway noise was minimal. Enjoy!

Report Check-In

I tried to stay in Mendocino last night near the white fence but there was a sketchy crowd yelling and letting their dogs go crazy. Which is so unfortunate because it's an amazing town.

This place is PERFECT. Keep your pets on leash as the cliff is right there. No amenties but the view is amazing. The cars on hwy 1 quiet down in the evening and I did share this spot with one other van. A large lot with space for probably 20 vehicles.

Report Check-In

Great spot right on the edge of Highway 1. We had no trouble parking our 22-foot rig overnight. Beautiful views of the ocean. You hear cars passing by, but that didn’t bother us.

Report Check-In

Stunning views. Great for sunset. Large lot. Spotty Verizon service. Not a great place for dogs due to proximity to a cliff. Keep on leash for sure. No signs. No one bothered us. Traffic gets busy at 6 am.

Report Check-In

Beautiful view of the cove. I was the only one there. Fairly exposed to road, but quieter at night. I felt fairly safe- Mendocino is right next door and is a very nice town
