Latest Check-Ins

nice overnight spot with lots of firepits and plenty of room. near the highway tho.

Report Check-In

Gate open but according to the sign, the area is closed to motor vehicles due to inclement weather. Seasonal closure.

Report Check-In

Many spots in the forest before requiring higher clearance vehicles further down Schnebley Hill Rd towards Sedona. Lots of room for big rigs. 4 bars AT&T. There is some interstate noise from I-17 if you're nearer to the exit 320 on the interstate side of the road, but not a big deal. If you're more adventurous and have a 4x4, check out the spots near the overlook off the main road on the rocky 153a. Will not disappoint.

Report Check-In

Road is still closed as of April 29, 2023. No access.

Report Check-In

area closed and no pass to sedona due to winter conditions.

Report Check-In

The road is closed both ways off the highway. I'm assuming it's a seasonal closure.

Great area right off I17, first 4 miles or so is easily accessible for most RVs and trailers. Road gets real rough after the overlook. Great cell signal does get busy on weekends.

Wonderful free camp spots. For the first few miles off the freeway, it’s a little bumpy but easy to do.
At like 5 miles away, it becomes really tough.
But not to worry, lots of camp spots in the first few miles.
Currently, no one around here. As the weather gets warmer and the weekends come, I hear there are lots of OHV around. Oh well.
3-4 bars on Verizon. My RV antenna boosts that to 5.
Beautiful forest area with lots of fallen wood for fires, and plenty of spots.
