This reserve is not financially aided by the government dispute being the main wildlife rescue and rehab center of the department. They have many animals in need and are short on resources. Thank you !

Beverages and breakfasts/lunches are available for purchase Monday - Saturday.

We had a nice tour with a very competent young lady.
If you ask you can camp here. Very nice clean showers and bathrooms.

as per above, this place needs more overlanders to stop on the way north/south along route 45, small detour, I was thinking about an hour stop.....3 hrs later having beers with the staff and camping overnight...
spread the good word (like me) and this place will do even more amazing work. the Jaguar, the way he stealthy follows you....

Really wonderful wildlife reserve where the animals have been rescued from wildlife trafficking. Many are rehabilitated and can be released, but some are too imprinted or injured to be set free... So they live here! Your visit helps care for them and others who need help. Lots of interaction with the free roaming capybara, parrots, ducks, turtles, and other strange birds around. The jaguar is in a very large, beautiful enclosure.
