I was the only car there and got booted. about 12:15am, cop pulled in and said they have had trouble with people shooting up and passing out at this spot. he said they let people sleep a bit at the Parkers up the road a few minutes.

Great place to stay. Two pieces of heavy machinery vehicles were in the parking lot and my sprinter van. No one bothered me during the night and I got excellent rest. It does smell really bad outside. I’m guessing that’s due to the factory next door but it could just be the water.

We pulled over to this spot thinking we were in for the night when a police officer ran his siren and informed us that parking is for vehicles with a trailer going to one of the islands only. This is not a spot for vans, buses, or campers.

Nicely kept boat ramp area. Bit noisy with big rigs crossing nearby drawbridge. Not a single sign saying overnight parking not allowed.

Beautiful spot, some road noise, big parking lot, outhouses, and a hose with fresh water.
