This spot is great! Asked the day guard, she said yes. Waited to set up tents till after 6 when the park closes. Didn't pay anything. We're on bikes.
Report Check-Inwe parked outside for free. 50 cent pp to visit the lagoon, it isn't so nice.. not worth it for us.
Estacionamos afuera gratis. 50 centavos por persona para conocer la laguna, que nisiquiera es tan linda.. no vale la pena para nosotros.

Report Check-InGood spot indeed. Follow the instructions below of oldies to camp right next to the lake. Beautiful view in the morning. We arrived at 6h10pm and were still allowed in. We only paid 2 usd for two persons and a car (probably because we said we would be leaving before 9am the next morning). Noise from Panam is not too bad (and we’re in a pop-up camper).
Report Check-InWe stayed about 200 m further south after the children's playground directly on the beach (guard's tip). Night guard passed by to chat and check tickets (5$). Gate closes at 6 pm and opens at 7 am. A bit of noise from the PanAm, did not disturb us. We were alone at this time of the year, very relaxing.
Report Check-InThere is lot of noise from the street and restrooms were closed at night. We ended here because there were no other options around. Because of the rain all other places were like mud-holes. People are friendly and there is a security guard at night. We payed 6$ for the night. Take a walk to the lagoon in the morning to watch the birds!
Report Check-InWe musst payed 6$ per night for 2 people and one Motor home
There is no way round the laguna
Large flat parking next to the lake. Gate to park closes at 6pm so we had the whole park to ourselves. Guard all night. Clean bathrooms open 24 hours. $5/night for 2 people and vehicle. Walking path around lake, green areas, clean and nice view. Recommended.
Report Check-InVery convenient place to camp. Clean restrooms, no showers, gated parking lot. Security guard 24/7.
Report Check-InExtremly Nice place. One of the best in Ecuador together with Sommerwind in Ibarra.
Close to the water. Super clean ! We've paid 2$ per Person and 1$ for the big Motorhome. They close at 6pm. Wrong Info of the other visitor !!!!
Guard for the whole night !!
Coordinates for wrong side of lake for entrance to park which is just off the h/way. Asked at ticket office and eventually found someone who understood that we wanted to camp. Opened the gates immediately and found beautiful spot on edge of lake but 200 metres from toilets. $5 for 2 per night.
