Nice location, on busy road but overnighters are told to park outback....where it is nice and quiet and adjacent to trees. Don't leave food out you could get visitors.
Great location if your going into the park
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Busy small town, CB had few overnighters given the holidays, quiet, safe and good food.
Report Check-Inquiet safe
parked behind the building close to trees
close to smoky mountains
very appreciative of CB
Great quiet lot. No issues in and out. Shared the lot with a couple other van lifers and motor homes. We parked in back by the trees which was perfect.
Report Check-InI ended up staying here for 3 nights. Got in after 9pm and left before 7. Quiet, a couple other vans, no one bothered me.
Report Check-InArrive around 8 pm to an empty RV/Camper lot. Checked with staff that an overnight stay is still allowed, and it is. Had a great, undisturbed sleep. Road noise died down early.
Report Check-Instayed last night with no issues. 4 other camper vans also parked around back with us. nice and quiet night
Report Check-InKicked out of this Cracker Barrel parking lot by local police at about 8:30pm (along with about 5 other camper vans). Cops said CB owner did not allow overnight camping, and it is also against city ordinance.
Report Check-InParked here over night in the lot behind the building. no signs saying you can and we weren't disturbed by anyone. wifi doesn't reach
Report Check-Inspoke to the manager just now (feb 11 2023) and they said you can't stay overnight at CB anymore, city ordinance since few months
Report Check-InGreat CB for an overnight. Bigger than most. The parking lot is big enough to keep you away from the street noise. We stayed two nights while visiting PF and Gatlinburg.
Report Check-InBest cracker barrel lot I've stayed in. The garbage truck in the morning was real but otherwise was a nice spot next to some woods with plenty of space, shared with other car campers but reasonably far apart
Report Check-InStayed the night with no issues. There was another camper over in the right side lot. I parked behind the restaurant like the other post recommended. Bathrooms were clean.
Report Check-InNice location. Parked in back with other campers. Dumpster pick up came around 5am and was loud but for free parking here we would deal with it again.
Report Check-Instayed 1 night. there were a couple other cars/vans. was not bothered and felt perfectly safe
Report Check-InExcellent place for the night! Parked in the very back next to the little creek! Quite, secluded and close to GSMNP!
Report Check-InVery large parking lot for Cracker Barrel, stayed two nights with a couple Rvs and car campers. Quiet and no issues.
Report Check-Innice quiet and peaceful night here, stayed overnight in our motorhome and nobody bothered us :) right in the middle of town right next to everything so that’s a plus.
Report Check-InStayed two times after the Dollywood fireworks and midnight July 4th parade in Gatlinburg. There were a few others here both nights.
Report Check-InProbably the quietest CB we've stayed! Except for the garbage guys at 4am. But that pretty typical of a CB stay. The parking is along the back, and we hardly heard any street noise throughout the night. There were 4 Van's, 2 Class Cs and a few car campers.
Report Check-InGreat place to stop over for a rest. would highly recommend. parking lot especially for campers and rigs
Report Check-InJust called and they said they are not allowing overnight parking right now. Rip.
Report Check-InGreat spot to spend a night before visiting the Smokies. Staff was very friendly and CB is right off of the main drive, but it was still quiet and I slept great. About 5 different rigs staying overnight.
Report Check-InStay one night in the parking lot. About 10 cars around, all spreading out. Quiet and peaceful. Thank you CB for allowing this, it's a convenient stop for us to see the Great Smokey Mountains National Park on the way from Virginia to Texas.
Report Check-InWas honestly the best spot to just stop after spending all day hiking in the smoky mountains. Couldn’t go too far since I have zip lining the next day back the same direction. I overall felt super safe here, noise went down a bunch around 10ish. There was a number of people traveling in vans sleeping around me as well as a big RV, definitely why I felt so comfortable here.
Report Check-InHuge parking lot! Back area is against a forest view & away from the main road.
Green space for pups!
Had dinner & asked to stay and they said they allow it but there is a city ordinance against sleeping in vehicles.
I was not bothered!
Great place to stay overnight. Within 20 minutes of the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains NP. Really big lot behind the restaurant and there were a number of other campers there. We got food from the CB and it was really good too. The waitress we talked to about being allowed to park did say that there is a family of bears that rummages through their dumpsters at night so be warned. We didn't see them.
Report Check-InThey have a sign where they want overnighters to park. There’s grass for the dogs! I have full cell service AT&T

Report Check-InCracker Barrel in Pigeon Forge TN. Had a nice quiet night parked north side of lot. Plenty of room for my 36’ truck and trailer combo.
Report Check-InThank you, CB! Rainy, dark night yesterday and the national park campground we expected to stay at was a no-go. It was getting scary to drive! Found this CB and had a good, restful night. Now getting a delicious Covid safe breakfast to go. Who can beat that? Plenty of grass to walk the dog - pls pick up!
