Simplistic but beautiful overall. Very level sites. No lighting at night. Bathrooms have no hand sanitizer or anything so plan ahead. $5 on reservation.gov BUT $8 additional fee. Well maintained and decent trails close

Perfectly quiet campground, easily accessible from I-26. We parked in our van one night. Must book/pay online at recreation.gov app. $5/night plus $8 online reservation fee.

Small, pretty, quiet campground. No dump or water here so I recommend the 5-mile away KOA for both. Most sites are level and have fire rings and picnic tables. Pit toilets and trash receptacles. Nearby hiking trail. We stayed 2 nights. We had a scary moment when a walking man came up to us in the dark at midnight asking if we knew some man he was looking for. He had no light, no car, no camping gear. He had a plastic bag he dumped on the ground and it had a pair of reading glasses and a tooth necklace. It felt really off and my gut gave me a bad feeling. Nothing else happened but we went inside immediately and locked up.

Verizon speed 64.19 mbps
October 2022 rate: self pay $5 per day for the limited walk-in sites (site 7 is one)

Awesome campground, stayed at site 13 — mostly shaded spot. It’s super quiet here. $5 a night to stay but if you have NP pass it saves you $2.50, paid on the rec.gov app.. easy! Cell service isn’t to bad and there’s toilets (clean) and place to throw out trash. They do have some spots designated for hunters (during season) Overall really happy with this spot!!

Very quiet. We slept well. Primitive and natural campsite. Only bathroom. No water or electricity.

No QR codes for first-come spots, online reservation only right now and reservation is an extra $8. So total was $13. Was quiet until tractor came during the morning to do construction. Clean bathrooms but no running water. Cell service is good!

Still $5 a night up to 14 nights. We took spot 14 using the recreation.gov app close by the exceptionally clean pit toilets and trash cans. Wooded leveled sites with fire rings and picnic tables. You can hear occasional cars on Brick House road but not many and no big deal. Strong Verizon signal. Highly recommended.

Super great primitive campground with pit toilets, picnic tables, grills, and trash cans. It is a hunting camp, but we visited before the season started. Sign said reservations were required during hunting season. It was $5 a day or $2.5 with annual pass. Three bars of Verizon service! 10/10 recommend!

Having a wonderful time here. Very quiet this time of the year during the week. Very clean sites. Easy parking for some larger rigs. Pit toilets and trash. $5 or $2.50 with the annual parks pass. Please pay if you stay here to help maintain the spot. It’s beautifully maintained. Palmetto trail and other trails around to explore. Also horse access for equestrians. The palmetto trail is popular with mountain bikes. Cell service as well. Overall super happy with this spot and wish we had more nights to stay.
