Just off HWY 12, on a parallel National Forest road, there is a large area by the side of the river with multiple flat areas. Shade and sun. Take Tieton Reservoir Road and then shortly thereafter take a right on NF-580. Clearings will be on your right. This large area has room for dozens of vehicles. Most sites have access to the river, which is flowing swiftly. No Verizon. One bar of roaming for text. Please help keep this area clean. Pack out some extra trash if you can.

What a great area!! Saw the rapids off the Hwy, & one truck & decided to venture down here !!! So many spots along the brisk flowing river!!
A little noise from the traffic above, but the water rapid sounds drown it out !! I will stay here again !!!
Report Check-InJust passed by, saw trucks and trailers camped, pretty cool spot!
Report Check-InGreat dispersed camping! Lots of spots available on a forest service road. Picnic tables at a few sites which is convenient. Right next to the river, which also means right next to the highway, but that’s okay.
Camping here in November so not another soul in sight!
beautiful spot. trash everywhere though. people need to respect the area.
