There are many options for wild camping along the lakeshore here, but this one was the only one that wasn't full of people or getting blasted by the wind. Drive down a diagonal track from the main road and park behind a grove of trees. Only a few steps from the lake, but sheltered from the wind. We sleep in a pop-up roof tent and we heard the wind howling all night but it didn't rattle our tent fabric.

As mentionned before, there are a lot of options! Gorgeous windy lake! We had a great stay (1 night). Not much people (compared to the beach)
Report Check-Invery nice Spot, we spent here 3 nights over new years eve. some locals around us but they were not loud. A lot of wind in these days
Report Check-InNice sheltered spot up from the lake. Spent a peaceful night here. Even on a Saturday nobody passed by this area. Just some other lovely overlanders a couple of spots down from here. Definitely recommend!
Report Check-InGreat spot with amazing view ! There many places around the lake, choose the best one for you. There are some signalisation about wild camping being illegal since 2018. We still camped there with our van. Nobody bothered us.
Report Check-InI found this to be the most beautiful spot along the lake. You can park cm's from the water or more in between the trees. On busy days local families will come and picnic left and right, but in the evening, you have the place to your own. No cell reception.
