Nice place, just as described. Beautiful view of the lake, no service for Verizon though. Not even 1 bar.

Pretty decent location (not great) right by a lake (drinking supply to Woodstock so no swimming or trespassing). Large number of locals and visitors come by for morning sunrise and evening sunset. Friendly area. Interesting and delightfully weird characters because of the location (Woodstock). Bald eagles (three) hunt around the lake. Keeps eyes open to see them.

just fantastic. friendly locals asked us about the van and wished us happy travels. the reservoir is for drinking water, so best to keep it pristine.

really nice spot, a few people there to catch the sunset, but after that very private. a few cars early in the morning, but a great night's sleep!

I wasn't able to find this place.

This was a wonderful spot to park our van for the night. During the day it’s a popular area for people to park and walk around, so throughout the morning there were some cars coming and going. No one seemed to pay us much attention, and everyone we did interact with was super friendly. The view was beautiful in the morning. The road was pretty icy after a night in the 20’s since it doesn’t get much sun first thing. This pull off is large enough for multiple cars/vans and might fit a larger rig, but since people parked here to go hike we tried not to take up too much space. There was no Verizon service, and there are residential houses nearby.

stayed here 1 night. a bit of a traverse to get there, no service, beautiful views. SUPER quiet but felt pretty safe. wasnt busy at all maybe one other car camper next to me

Pull out on gravel shoulder. Beautiful view of the lake. Probably only one or two parking spots that are flat. Lots of walkers coming and going but very quiet at night. No one seemed to mind we were there. Stayed one night.

Main/first parking pull-off was full so we went a tinsy bit further and found a good spot; it was right by a trail leading around the lake. It was big enough for our van which made it a bit more private since all the spots are right along the road it was nice not to have another car directly infront or behind us. It seems to be a relatively popular spot despite not being able to swim, maybe its because the houses nearby? But the lake views were nice. All in all we stayed one night, road traffic wasnt bad in the evening, and we saw one other person stay overnight a little further up the road.

Great spot on the lake. Very peaceful and for the most part, secluded.

Great spot right outside Woodstock, NY. Stayed here 2 nights - no problems. Easy to access/find and was able to walk to att service

FYI - NO SWIMMING! Cop came by and advised against it. There are a few signs posted but they’re hidden away in the shrubs and trees.
