Something not right?

Description

Spots in a small lot as well as side street parking down along the water. Probably want to be stealth but there are no signs anywhere indicating no overnight or a time limit. Right on the river with views of the old railroad bridge and the marina.

Great spot. The fellow at the Marina was very nice and said they encourage RVs. There is no active power anymore, but that's okay. Free and safe spot near the heart of the city for glam boondocking :)

Great location directly downtown on the water in a well lit and walkable area. Spoke to some locals and someone who works for the marina and said they encourage vans and very small RVs (no big rigs) to stay overnight and explore the city. None of the electrical outlets work on the side for parking, there are others on the other side but you'd need to let vehicles run over your cord. Water also available at the marina.

Great spot to park for the night! Bathrooms were out of order when we were there but great stay overall, being down by the marina cut through the summer heat. Nice little small town to check out too, nice coffee shop near the marina if you end up needing a bathroom in the morning.

Report Check-In

Very nice spot, quiet, safe. Wanted to ask at the marina, but came too late, closed already. Asked some locals if they thought we could stay - they said worst that could happen could be cops knocking on our door and asking us to leave. Sign on the gate says “closes at dark” but they told us that the gates were always open. Heard some people talking during the night, probably on one of the houseboats, and some distant traffic noise, other than that quiet.

Great spot. Spoke with the marina managers. They are a nice couple and were happy when I asked if I could stay for a few days. They even showed me electric hookups along the street. Solid free spot and feels safe.
