As described, amazing hosts, beautiful finca, lots of wild and domestic animals. Kids had a great time, highlight of our time in Nica.

We contacted owner Wilma ahead of time to verify then had space for to camp. Super friendly & helpful. Quiet finca in the middle of nowhere owned by a couple from Netherlands. Camped in circular driveway as it was more level than the couple of designated spots. Clean banos, flush toilet & lukewarm shower if pila is warmed by sun. Slow WiFi. Nice big table & covered hangout area. We enjoyed walking the paths to all the cabanas, pond & treehouse. It’s through the jungle with lots of plants & birds. This is a working finca so there are lots of trees, plants, farm animals & workers doing their chores. Met some nice volunteers from Netherlands here as well. I would recommend to any overlanders needing a safe place to camp with locals.

For motorcyclists it's easy, the little concrete bridge is easy, stay center. As for the river crossing stay far left. There is a deep divot in the right side of the ford, go in there and bad things will happen.
Regarding the finca it's as described below, the new price is $20 for a cabin.

We gave it the old college try in our van and the cement bridge was a bit rough for our low clearance van but the river most of the way in on the rocky road was a barrier. Knee deep water over large round pebbles with a steep muddy exit on the other side of the river looked like 4x4 only to us. We turned around. A pity but this is rural Nicaragua and off the tourist path so no surprise.

It was raining a lot, so we rent a cabin with private bathroom just for 15$/night instead of our rooftop tent. Kitchen is clean and equipped with all you need, WiFi at reception and natural pool. All buildings are in a bit distance from each other and the path can get muddy, so be prepared for it. There are monkeys and lot of birds on the property and also huge spiders. Real jungle adventure 😁 We also did a coffee tour with Harm(owner) which was really interesting and took about 1,5-2 hours. He said we are the first ones who asked about this tour but for us it was better than other tours because it was not just theory about making coffee but personal and honest experience. Recommended.

A little paradise. we asked in advance if it is possible to come to their place with our truck. they cut a few branches for us which Was super nice. it is such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy everything.

Loved this place👊🏻
Spent a second night as they are so well set up for guests. No big rigs but they will find you a spot in the van/truck. I believe with more Van lifers stopping in, they intend on having a better flat spot but don’t let that stop you, these are amazing hosts and a VERY beautiful area.
They have trails marked out and whoa, QR codes (is that right?) for you to explore. We ran our dogs for 15km in the mountains which has been a struggle in Central America.
They got coffee for you and of course I had to take a bag.
The waterfalls are enjoyable for a dip and you will need it after walking up there. You see/hear the monkeys.
So many great reasons to stop in. Not having a lot of luck finding places for us and to have dogs free, this was a slice of what we needed. If we supplied better, we would have stayed longer.

a place in the jungle: highly recommended! Realy a beautifull place with beautifull owners who are very hospitable and like to informe you about their property, neighbourhood, nature, plants etc. Nice walking trails, a river and waterfall.
$10 for 2 people in a van ( trucks are oké on the spot), wifi, water, bush douche ( cold) and the other one warmed by the sun, sitting balcony, toilet, electricity, even meals if you want or a kitchen to use and a lot of pleasure.

Paradise jungle in the coffee region of Nicaragua! the owners (a Dutch couple) are extremely welcoming and nice people. The finca is immersed in the jungle and there are many activities that can be done: multiple hikes through jungle & coffee and cacao fields, dipping in the several swimming holes in the river, a wonderful waterfall, horse riding, watching the (many) howler monkeys and the (more rare) sloths.
The dirt road to the finca is easy/in good state. you do have to cross a small river but nothing to worry if you have decent clearance (we did it in a FWD promaster).
The finca has cabins for rent (see website) or 10 $ per night / vehicle for overlanders.
You have access to a bathroom, common room with wifi, a kitchen, outdoor shower, potable water.
You can buy home cooked meals, as well as coffee and honey.
We came here for 2 days and stayed for 10. Absolutely recommended. It's our favorite spot in Nicaragua and in the top 5 of CA.
Note: the main parking space is limited (2 rigs? but you could park along the road through the property too), better to text (Whatsapp) the owners to check.

Unfortunately not friendly at all to a solo cyclist after a long trek up. Nowhere suitable to pitch a tent, no sign of a kitchen, electrics or water. I did not stay.

Beautiful and quiet place with lots of space for camping, sorrounded by nature. The owners are super friendly. We spent three nights here and saw many howler monkeys and a sloth! Water is potable and electricity is available, as well as kitchen and bathroom. We absolutely recommend this place if your are looking to be in contact with nature!

Beautifull spot!
The cabins are in the jungle forest so you are surrounded by the sound of many tropical birds. There is a kitchen (called comedor) where you can cook and there are in- and outside showers. You can park on the terrain which is quite and safe at night.

From the finca you can do hikes in the area to nearby waterfalls.
Very friendly and fun owners who know a lot about the area.
