A bit crowded campsite (like all of them here…). Lots of stuff to buy in the minimarket (tuna cans for 3k).
Report Check-InLiked the cooking area here, lots of space. camp at back of campsite near rock for least wind
Report Check-InAs described very windy spot. Also be aware of the sand/dirt that can get into your tent if you don't camp on the gras!! We had a lot of wind and there was sand everywhere. Best to camp close to the mountain and use rocks, otherwise your tent becomes a kite as we noticed...
showers are alright and cooking area is also ok.
Beautiful campsite at Lago Pehoe. You can reach it by catamaran from Pudeto or hike there. Nice grassy area, few wind protection. Showers are hot and open from 2 - 10 pm, there's a kitchen to cook indoor or a restaurant to eat. The minimarket has everything you need at reasonable prices (considering the logistics). Incredibly crowded at that time of the year. Many day tourists, but also the camp was packed; not a really relaxing atmosphere.
Report Check-InThe windiest campsite of the entire O circuit, make sure to properly anchor your tents! The fences don’t really offer much protection, so picking a spot close to the mountain is much better. The cooking and eating areas are large and cozy. Refugio has a large restaurant and a bar. There were plenty of toilets, but by the morning only a few were clean and flushable.
Report Check-InDecent toilets, didn't try the showers. Soap and TP available. Small shop with snacks to purchase and a bar/restaurant in the refugio. Sites suck -- hardly any flat, better off camping in the grass nearby.
Report Check-InBetter infrastructure than in fantastico sur campsites. Minimarket with lots of things for really reasonable prices, many toilets and showers, big cooking and eating area and restaurant which sells pizzas and drinks.
Campsites themselves are grassy and flat and make good tent-pitching conditions. Sometimes can be very windy and you are well advised to take a spot very close to the hillside.
Report Check-InWe slept here to go to the Britanico the next morning. It was SO windy, the tent didn’t make it 😂 there are toilets showers and a place to cook.
13000 pesos for one night
A big campsite, with many spots, close to each other. Good facilities, warm water, restaurant with bar and small shop (price are higher then normal). Drinking water and also a general area where you can make your dinner.
Be aware for the VERY STRONG WIND! So set up your proper!
Only accesible by ferry our by walking the double W or O trek.
Report Check-InMy least favorite campsite along the O trek. Super crowded and full of tourists. No quite spots and a big lodge with all the comforts everyone could want - in the middle of Patagonia! Bigger sheltered area for cooking and nice hot showers, but still way too many people for my likes.
Report Check-InThe camping was overcrowded when we were there. Previous reservations via website are needed (this is one of the biggest camps, you can try to reserve it even if there are no places at the other camps). Its possible to pay with card - either at the camp and minimarket.
Report Check-In6000 pesos so much better value than the Fantastico Sur sites. Nice big cooking/dining room with lots of plug sockets. Well stocked minimarket with some fresh food like cheese and vegetables. Downside is that the tents are all on top of each other so you’d better hope your neighbour doesn’t snore, and the showers are locked until 6pm.
Report Check-Init's now 6.000$. with perfect view to the cuernos Del Paine. Wi-Fi costs 10usd for 8 hours. there is a big room for cooking which is nice. also hot showers.
Report Check-InThe most important thing hasn’t been mentioned yet: they have beer! They sell cans of lager for 5000clp. WiFi didn’t work when I was here.
Report Check-InThe Campsite and the Refugio are operated by the company Vertice Patagonia. Reservations must be done in advance.
Report Check-Init s 10 $us for one night. shower from 18:00 to 22:00.
Report Check-InNice camping with warm shelter for cooking.
There are several power plugs available in the shelter.
There's also a minimarket which sells food (pasta, snacks, cookies, sodas etc) for reasonable prices (considering the location)
