Latest Check-Ins

Great spacious clearing. Fairly level - enough space for 2 vehicles or several tents. Higher elevation and nicely shaded- made for cooler temps despite summer heat. Bugs were not bad at all. Trash bucket was full but otherwise really clean site. Special thanks to builder of rudimentary pit toilet off left side of driveway and clothesline at main camp. Lots of downed trees to gather firewood. Nice and quiet but is right next to fire road. We saw 1 vehicle drive by and that’s it. Road to access is super easy and well maintained. We had to be conscious of fitting under a few low branches with our taller rig but nothing preventing our passage. Enjoy and remember to kill your fires, it’s dry up here!

Pretty bad road in spots, a bit rutted and muddy going up and down twisty hills. If you have off road driving skills you should be fine. We made it up the morning after a night of rain in a 2x4 8,000lb extended chevy express 3500 with a dirtbike on the hitch...nice open spot for a few campers, not too big, top of the hill with good cell service

Cool spot. Its pretty deep in it. The road in is pretty rough in some spots and might be a bit of a challenge for vehicles with low clearance. I have a 4x4 jeep compass and was scraping the bottom a bit in some spots. It was also pretty muddy and a bit sketchy in some spots. when I arrived, there were multiple spots where bonfires were made previously and quite a bit of trash scattered about. Unfortunately Im extremely limited on space or i would take more out. there was a trash barrel but its filled to the brim. In my rooftop tent I can faintly hear a train off in the distance sometimes but otherwise its dead silent here. im surprised i get good cell reception.

Cell reception is good.

Blair witch project kinda feel.
