Great little spot a quick drive off the highway. No other people or cars nearby and far enough from the highway that traffic was not heard. Occasional headlights would be seen in the far distance but nothing more and very few at that. We camped at the base of some pretty cool rock formations. Bats appear to use some of them to sleep in and came out at night. The star viewing was great and no cactus so our dog was able to walk around without issue. There was some crude fire rings but be cautious of the wind and red flag warnings at all times.

I wanted to let people know that I was able to access this location in a vehicle with mid-decent ground clearance and AWD. Be careful, let people know, pack out :)
Report Check-InGreat spot, BLM land, access from the main road. Dirt road is a bit bumpy, just take it slow. Sandy, so highway tires might struggle. Nice campsite close by the rocks, very quiet. Can faintly see headlights in the distance at night, but nothing that would be a bother. Nice spot for 2-3 vehicles. Good for shooting too, just clean up after yourself when you leave.
