Rest Area at Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint. Cool canyon with beautiful bridge crossing. Restrooms and lots of spots for overnight stays. All the cell networks. Be careful with pets and children, steep and sudden canyon sides have apparently turned dogs Into lemmings.

semi-trucks came in and out all night to sleep, some left their engines on all night. at least 4 other campers. the bathroom is heated and has sinks. saw a highway patrol car drive by but it never stopped, had no problems car camping here
Report Check-InThis is a rest stop with both car parking and long truck/RV spaces, bathrooms, picnic tables, right next to a spectacular gorge. Stayed here 1 night in our 21' van conversion in early November. A few other vehicles but no other RVs were here at this time during shoulder season. There are train tracks running right behind the lot, and we heard trains go by several times overnight, although they don't blow horns in this area. 1-2 bars verizon, and could stream pretty solidly with a cell booster.
Report Check-InYes, it is noisy but it is so partly because it is such a popular place to overnight. Lots of semis and private cars. I was the only one on a motorcycle. I was able to park my bike just beyond the bathrooms by a picnic table... not legit, but no one bothered me and it was more secluded. Bathrooms are clean.
Report Check-InThis was easily the WORST place I have ever stayed. The truck parking spots were directly next to the car spots with no separation, and they kept their trucks running all night long. People were constantly passing by my car all night, dogs were barking past midnight, and I slept maybe 4 hours total.
It is safe, well lit and clean - but none of that outweighed the multitude of noises that kept me up all night. Even after I put in earplugs, I could hear the semis engines idling directly behind me. Go literally anywhere else but here if you want to actually sleep.
A large parking area next to an amazing viewpoint of a deep chasm cut into the otherwise flat and level landscape. The park has well-maintained grass and picnic tables under shade trees. The overlook is behind a stone wall, so it is very safe... but a bit unnerving because it's 300 feet straight down!
Report Check-Infaucet behind bathrooms by drinking fountain. was occupied by hose with sprinkler at the moment I was there.
Report Check-InGreat spot, it was pretty full when we arrived around 10pm - lots of big rigs, several vans, couple RVs. Some were running generators/engines and the rest stop lights are very bright. We parked at the south end along the curb, in the dark - there’s “no parking” signs on the right side, but the left side was in the clear! It’s right next to the train track but didn’t hear the first train until 6am.
Report Check-InThis is a great place to stay, lots of parking, superb views and bathroom facilities.
Last night there were 12 vehicles overnight and plenty of space for everyone.
There is a train track adjacent to the area so you do get a bit of train noise, and can hardly hear the road.
The views are superb and well worth a visit.
We would definitely stay again.
Report Check-InRest stop with bathrooms. Lots of cars, vans, and semi trucks parked overnight. Amazing views of Crooked River just behind the bathrooms.

Report Check-InJust off the quite highway and train tracks that you don’t hear anything. Well lit and great must see 300ft cliff! A couple bars for Verizon and AT&T
