Latest Check-Ins

Small campground in Apalachicola national Forest near Bristol, Florida. 10 campsites, half with water and electric. Restrooms and showers are clean and spacious, and ADA compliant. Camel Lake is adjacent to the campground, with a small beach and 1.5 mile walking trail around the lake. The Florida Trail crosses just behind the campground.
The campsite are level, with some shade, picnic tables, fire rings, and big enough for larger RVs. Best proof trash cans are scattered around the campground. Sites are close together, within view and ear shot of one another.
Self pay envelopes for those without reservations, however, it was full for my 2 night stay. Suggest making reservations online.

As of this visit I can confirm if sites are available you can cash/envelope at the iron ranger - thank goodness not everywhere has gone to reserve America. $20, or $10 with acceptable pass such as annual park or golden age pass.

I wrote the original posting and just wanted to change a couple of things - there is no dump and the showers were hot with clean restrooms.
